The Crossmolina Agricultural Society has been in existence since 1955. Every year since its inception, it has organised the Crossmolina Agricultural and Industrial Show - a one-day event showcasing the diversity of the agricultural produce in the region, the skills of traditional artists and the quality of the local animal breeds. Classes exist for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, dogs, farm produce, horticulture, cookery, crafts, home industries etc.
