Crossmolina Badminton Club resumes on Wednesday September 16th in the Sports Hall at St Tiernan's Park.
Ballina ran out four points winners over Crossmolina in the North Mayo U11 League in St Tiernan's Park on Tuesday evening last 2 - 11 to 2 - 7. The visitors raced into a nine point lead in the opening fifteen minutes, two goals from Lorcan Moore brought Crossmolina right back into the game and after that there was no more than a kick of a ball in it. Crossmolina U15 Boys ran out comfortable winners over Kiltmagh in the County Division 1B League in Kiltmagh on Sunday week 4 - 16 to 3 - 6.
Crossmolina U13 team were defeated by Knockmore in the County League in Crossmolina by 4 - 6 to 1 - 7.

Sympathy
The death occurred in Leeds, England on Wednesday 2nd September of Mary Queenan, formerly of Ballymayock, Castlehill, Ballina. Her remains were removed from Leonard's Funeral Home, Laherdane on Friday evening to St Patrick's Church, Laherdane with burial in Addergoole cemetery on Saturday after Requiem Mass. Mary is survived by her mother Lena brothers J.P Ballymayock , Frank, Leixlip, Thomas, Castlebar sisters Breege Woods and Nellie Queenan Leeds, Phil Jordan Kilmurray, aunts Agnes Lydon Ballinrobe and Bridie Reilly Cavan, brothers - in - law, sisters - in - law, nieces, nephews, extended family relations and friends.
