EuroDisney Moffatt Irish Dancers, Badminton, Foroige, Chernobyl, Sympathy, GAA, Lotto


EuroDisney / Irish Dancing
The Moffatt School of Irish Dancing will take part in a performance of a non-stop Irish Dance show in Euro Disney, Paris on Spetember 19th. Many hours of practice and prepation has taken place and all concerned are wished well for their excting trip.

Set Dancing
Classes resume in Hiney’s on Tuesday September 15th at 9pm. A great night of fun is expected and all are welcome


Badminton News

Crossmolina Badminton Club resumes on Wednesday September 16th in the Sports Hall at St Tiernan's Park.
Under age at 7 o’clock
 
Students and Adults at 8.30pm.

U11 League

Ballina ran out four points winners over Crossmolina in the North Mayo U11 League in St Tiernan's Park on Tuesday evening last 2 - 11 to 2 - 7. The visitors raced into a nine point lead in the opening fifteen minutes, two goals from Lorcan Moore brought Crossmolina right back into the game and after that there was no more than a kick of a ball in it.
In a thrilling contest of pure football Crossmolina team and scorers were:

Crossmolina U15 Boys ran out comfortable winners over Kiltmagh in the County Division 1B League in Kiltmagh on Sunday week  4 - 16  to 3 - 6.

Crossmolina U13 team were defeated by Knockmore in the County League in Crossmolina by 4 - 6 to 1 - 7.

Lotto Results

There was no winner of the Crossmolina G A A club lotto jackpot on Saturday night September 5th.
The numbers were 7 - 24 - 28 - 29 
Emma  Mulligan, Richmond, Castlehill Ballina matched three numbers and won €150.
The draw took place in Maughans.
This weeks jackpot is €11,300.

Can you give 1 1\2 hours per month?

Crossmolina Foroige Club returns on Friday night September 25th and are looking for volunteers to help with the efficient running of the club. If you are willing to give one and a half hours per month please ring 087 7607883 after 5pm for more information. All people over 18 years are eligible

Sympathy
Mary Queenan R I P

The death occurred in Leeds, England on Wednesday 2nd September of Mary Queenan, formerly of Ballymayock, Castlehill, Ballina. Her remains were removed from Leonard's Funeral Home, Laherdane on Friday evening to St Patrick's Church, Laherdane with burial in Addergoole cemetery on Saturday after Requiem Mass. Mary is survived by her mother Lena brothers J.P Ballymayock , Frank, Leixlip, Thomas, Castlebar sisters Breege Woods and Nellie Queenan Leeds, Phil Jordan Kilmurray, aunts Agnes Lydon Ballinrobe and Bridie Reilly Cavan, brothers - in - law, sisters - in - law, nieces, nephews, extended family relations and friends. May she Rest in Peace.
