Are staging their play 'Don’t Dress for Dinner' by Marc Camoletti. It’s a rip - roaring comedy with plenty of twists. 
It will be held in the Parish Hall on the 19th 20th and 21st February

Their was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel Rovers Club lotto jackpot on Saturday February 6th.

No punter matched three numbers either and six tickets were drawn

Peadar’s Award

Congratulation to Peadar Gardiner who was awarded the Connacht Sports Writers Award for July 2009. The awards were presented at a gala awards ceremony in the T F Royal Theatre last Friday week

Gold Medal Award

Congratulation to Ronan Rochford Knockglass who was awarded a Gold Medal in Applied Physics and Electronics in N U I Galway recently


Sympathy 

Terry Murphy R I P

The death occurred on peacefully Monday 8th February at the Moyridge Nursing Home Ballina of Terry Murphy Quay Rd  Ballina and formerly of Ballaghmuck. Her remains were removed from McGowan’s funeral home on Wednesday evening to St Muredach’s  Cathedral with burial on Thursday in Kilmurray cemetery after Requiem Mass. Terry is survived by her nieces and nephews the  Murphy’s Tooreen, Leonard’s Ballaghmuck , Diamond’s Ballina , Lynn’s Rathbane and Lyons Church St., grand nieces and nephews extended family relations and friends.
 May she Rest in Peace.

Crossmolina Deel Rovers presentation and race night is on Friday night 26th February starting at 8pm in Hiney’s.
Free entry, raffle on the night and finger food

The following are the results of the weekly Crossmolina Whist drive Top score Sean Gallagher , 1st Gent John Timlin , 2nd Gent Ann Carolan  , 1st Lady Eileen McBaine , 2nd Lady Kathleen McNamara , Lowest score Maureen Gallagher , Longest sitting Tom Kettrick and T.C.Bourke . Raffle Ann Cleary , T.C.McGuiness , and Sean Gallagher . The game is on every Thursday night in the social services centre at 8pm new members always welcome

            

Bridge Results

The following are the results of the weekly Crossmolina Bridge Club session  1st Breeda and John Mulkearns 2nd a three way tie Mary Benson and Carmel Dunlea, Ena Coggins and Helena Loftus, Nuala Doyle and Margaret Loftus, 3rd Padraic Langan and Mary Corcoran. The game is on every Thursday night in Hiney’s new members  always welcome

 

James Has Retired

James Nallen the long serving Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Player has retired from inter County football after a glittering career in which he won every honour in the game except an All-Ireland senior medal after playing a record 132 times for his County. James was a model player with a wonderful disciplinary record of never being sent off in Club or County level  which very few players can boast. Having also played 151 league and 93 Championship games for his club at senior level where he won every honour including. All-Irelnd Club medal in 200 James is now transferring to Claregalway where he is living for the past six years where he will join up with his former colleague Paul McGuiness. James is wished all the best of luck in the future for his many friends in the parish
