There was no winner of the Crossmolina G A A club lotto jackpot on Saturday night November 14th

The numbers were 11 - 12 - 15 - 30 

No punter matched three  number either and six tickets were drawn:

Dermot O’Malley Keenagh Ballina

Mary McAndrew 18 Riverwalk Crossmolina

Paddy Carr Beeleek Ballina

Dara Quinn Bridge St Crossmolina

David Walsh Keenagh Ballina 

They share the prize money of €150. The draw took place in Stick's Bar 

This weeks jackpot is €12,800. Many thanks for your continued support


Gráinne Uaile Sub Aqua Club Search & Recovery Unit 

Church Gate collection
Gráinne Uaile Sub Aqua Club wish to thank all Crossmolina Mass goers for
their kind support of our Search and Recovery Unit at the Church Gate
collection.
Gráinne Uaile have a group of twenty volunteer divers fully trained in
search and recovery techniques. Our Search and Recovery Unit give their time
and equipment on a voluntary basis to search for missing people in rivers,
lakes and at sea. In the past year we have assisted local communities at
the request of the Garda on six occasions.
Gráinne Uaile bear the full cost of this activity as we receive no funding
from the state either for equipment or for the insurance of our volunteers
in this activity. Many thanks for your kind assistance. 

New CD

Karen Madden, formerly of Gortskeddia now living in Ballina has just releases a new CD. Its title track is  “It feels like home” which is also the  title track of her new album which will be released in the new year. The song is very popular with Midwest Radio listeners, being requested a number of times daily  on the station. Karen is daughter of well known musician Bob.

New Brownies Group

All Girls between the ages of seven and ten years are welcome. There will be games, crafts and lots of fun. It takes place every Monday evening from 6pm to 7pm in the Parish Hall. Contact Rachel at 096 31354 for further information.

Tragic Accident

There was great sadness and shock on Tuesday evening last throughout the west of Ireland when news broke of the tragic accident on the Ballindine to Miltown Road which claimed the lives of four NUI Galway students. Sorcha Rose McLoughlin Mulgannon Co Wexford whose parents are from Achill Island was one of the victims. Sorcha Rose was niece of John McLoughlin Ballina Rd Crossmolina. Prayers were recited for the repose of the souls and all who were in involved in the accident in St Tiernan's Church on Wednesday evening. To the families we extend our deepest sympathy and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Set dancing and line dancing classes for children and young adults in Hineys onTuesday evenings 7.30 to 8.30pm. All are welcome

One wall In Door Handball in St Tiernan’s Park sports centre every Saturday evening at 6pm new members welcome
