Keenagh Foroige Youth Group Established in 2007. We have over 30 members and 10 leaders. We meet Friday nights from 8.30 to 10 p.m.in Keenagh Old School. New members are welcome and anyone over 18 interested in becoming a leader is welcome to contact us. In 2011 one of our members Shane Ruane was one of the winners of the Mayo heat of Foroiges Got Talent and went on to represent us at the All Ireland Finals in Dublin. We held a disco in the Dolphin hotel which was attended by ten local clubs. We hosted the Bingo on two nights in Crossmolina Town Hall. We also took part in other foroige events. In June we hosted two clubs from Wicklow which had travelled to Mayo for Band in the Strand in Lacken. We had a sleepover in Kilmurray Centre (thanks to the Committee for the use of the centre. Thnaks to all our members leaders and parents for attending all year and to all who helped/sponsored us in anyway. We had a great year and look forward to more of the same
