Lotto, Bridge, Tom Roche Award, Florrie Hegarty RIP, New Garda

There was no winner of the Crossmolina G A A local lotto jackpot on Saturday night 24th October.
The numbers were: 2 - 14 - 24 - 29
Four punters matched three numbers:

Peter Mangan Cabra Castlehill Ballina
Kathleen Conroy Enniscoe Castlehill
Noel McHale C/o Killala Presision Company Killala
They share the €150 prize.
The draw took place in Hiney’s Bar.
This weeks jackpot is €12,350.

Florrie Hegarty R I P

The death occurred peacefully at her residence of Florrie Hegarty nee Flanagan, Teac I Lar, Lecarrow, Crossmolina. Her remains were removed from her residence for requiem mass with burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Florrie is survived by her husband Peter, sons John and Michael, Lecarrow. daughters Raidie Fitzmaurice, Lacken, Grainne Boyce, Ballina, Shona, Castlehill, brothers Sean, Sligo, Ollie, Moylaw, Miko, Athlone, sister Margaret, Dublin, daughters-in-law, sons- in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
The passing of Florrie has come as a great shock to her many friends who she has worked with on so many projects within the parish during her life time, these include:
The annual G A A festival during the 1970s, 80s and into the nineties
The parish hall committee during which time the hall was renovated and re-opened in June 1991
The church cleaning committee
The show committee 
Treasurer of the Crossmolina G A A club for 10 years which included 2001 when the club won the All-Ireland Club title which gave her so much pleasure
Assistant treasurer at present and the driving force behind  the club development draw which was such a great success
The lotto which is the clubs bread and butter
The huge crowds that called to the house, attended the removal and funeral mass was testimonial of the high regard so many people had for Florrie. Deepest sympathy is extended to her husband Peter, sons John and Michael, daughters Raidie, Grainne and Shona, brothers Sean, Ollie and Miko, sister Margaret, extended family, relations and friends.
May she Rest in Peace

Crossmolina Bridge club resumes its activity for the winter season on this Thursday night 5th November  at 8 o’clock sharp in Hiney’s  new members  always welcome


New Garda

Congratulations to Padraic Syron, Townacran, Keenagh who graduated from the Garda Training College in Templemore. Padraic will be stationed in Tallagh in Dublin. He is wished all the best of luck in his career from his many friends in Crossmolina Deel Rovers G A A Club
