There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 12th of October. The numbers drawn were 12 – 16 – 22 – 35. No punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn: John and Siobhain Leonard Gortskeddia Crossmolina, Meave Gallagher Ballycroy and Brian Munnelly The Boreen Crossmolina. They won €50 each. The draw took place in Hiney’s. This week’s Jackpot is €6,300. Many thanks for your continued support.

County Final Day
Next Sunday Crossmolina Intermediate team contest the County Final against Moy Davitts in Hastings McHale Park. It has given a great bus and excitement around the parish. The poor summer weather we had is now forgotten and the talk is football and a huge crowd is expected to support this young team contesting their first final in this grade. Get you flags and bunting up and enjoy the occasion finals are hard to get too.

Crossmolina 2 – 13 Ballinrobe 0 – 10
Cossmolina were pushed all the way to overcome a very resilient Ballinrobe side in this County U17 grading league semi-Final at Tiernan’s Park on Sunday week. Crosssmolina lead at the break 1 – 6 to 0 – 5 with 1 – 1 from Kobe McDonald, couple of points from Oisin Deane and points each from Ethan Reilly Josh Moyles and Luke Williams. Ballinrobe’s Caelan Tansey, Aaron Crowley, Rory Gilrane and Jack Philbin replied with points. The Second half was nip and tuck, Ballinrobe’s scores coming from Rory Gilrane, Caelan Tansey and Cian May.
The hosts’ Kobe McDonald who accounted for 1 -5 the goal coming after some very good team play when Ethan Reilly unselfish passed to in rushing Kobe to finish to the net. Oisin Deane accounted for the other point in the half. Those late scores did not reflect on the overall game as the South mayo side were well in the game up to last seven or eight minutes.
