Fr Michael Reilly Transferred to Belmullet
On Friday of last week news filtered through that Fr Michael Reilly was being transferred to Belmullet as parish priest. It came as a great shock to the people of the parish as Fr Michael Conway was retiring and it was thought Fr Michael would be with left with us for another year at least. Fr Michael Reilly came to Crossmolina in September 2003 and with Fr Michael Conway they have left a lasting legacy in the parish  with the restoration of St Tiernans church which is greatly  appreciated and admired by parishioner’s and visitors alike . We wish both the best of luck in the future.
