THE 2ND ANNUAL CAR BOOT, BRIC- A- BRAC AND CAKE SALE IN AID OF FR JOHN GALLAGHER’S AFRICAN MISSION will take place at Mullimore Road, Crossmolina on 2nd October 2011 at 9 am. Items for the bric-a-brac  sale can be donated on Friday evening 30th September 7-9 or Saturday 1st October 11-5. Bargains galore and your support would be gratefully appreciated.

Lotto Results
Their was no winner of the Crossmolina G A A lotto jackpot on Saturday night 24th September, The numbers were 6 – 13 – 26 – 29 no punter matched three numbers either and six tickets were drawn. Jarlath Tolan Knockleggan, Kevin Birrane Fairfield Crossmolina, Paddy Jordan Derryhillagh Castlehill Ballina, Patrick Barrett Mullenmore St, Tony May Rathkell Castlehill Ballina, Gabriel Walsh Laherdane, each win €25. The draw took place in Moffatts this weeks jackpot is €7.850. Many thanks for all your support.

Sr Nancy Doyle R I P
The death occurred suddenly on Thursday 29th September at her residence of Sr Nacey Doyle Jesus and Mary Convent house Mullenmore North and formerly of Tubbernavine Laherdane. Reposing at Mullenmore Road on Friday evening from 4pm with removal on Saturday evening at 6pm to St. Tiernan’s Church, Crossmolina. Requiem mass on Sunday at 11.30am with the funeral proceeding to Gortnorabbey Cemetery. Sr Nancy sadly missed by her community sisters of Jesus and Mary, brother Liam Tubbernavine, sisters Peggy Gibbons Howth Dublin, Kitty Keating Dublin,Rosaleen Joyce Wales, sisters – in – law, brothers – in – law nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends may she rest in peace

Yoga Classes

Moy Canoe Club
Are running a Welcome Day for anyone interested in conoeing as a hobby on Sunday 2nd October. Meet at 2pm at Schoolhouse Bay in Lough Conn. There will be all sorts of boats there for people to try out, and also a practicing of the rescues required for everybody attending a Level 3 course. Looking forward to seeing everybody there.
