KEENAGH FOROIGE
would like to thank all those who supported their recent fundraising raffle, to all those who bought and sold lines. €763 was raised.  The winners were: Margaret Walsh Keenaghbeg, Kay Byrne Wicklow, James Hogan Crossmolina, Mairead Barrett Lahardane, Padraig Kelly Crossmolina and Annie Forde Lahardane.

COMPUTER CLASSES
Crossmolina Community Development Group have recently  equipped a  Computer training suite in The Enterprise Centre and to date 30 people have availed of basic computer training e.g. use of Word .Excel, Internet ,email etc. If any individual or group wish to avail of  Computer training or are interested in finding out more about the course content please ring  or 096 30458 (office hours)  or 096 30935 or call to the Enterprise Centre,Mullinmore St., Crossmolina  .


CROSSMOLINA LIBRARY
Christmas cards and envelopes can be brought to the Library for recycling up until January 31st. LIBRARY OPENING TIMES:  Tuesday -1.00 pm to 7.00 pm Wednesday 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm Friday 11.00 am to 5.00 pm Saturday11.00 am to 4.00 pm


CROSSMOLINA TIDY TOWNS GROUP
will hold an open meeting to discuss the 3 year Tidy Towns Plan 2012 -2015 and the main development projects for 2012 on 25th January at 8pm in Hineys. Everybody is welcome and we would encourage local people including local Resident's Committees, businesses, landowners, voluntary groups, heritage groups and schools to send representatives to the meeting to hear how the projects may affect you, and find out about the ongoing work of the Tidy Town's group. Light refreshments available.


DOG FOULING
Please note that dog fouling on footpaths and in public places is an offence. The litter warden has access to the many CCTV cameras throughout the town and will not hesitate to prosecute offenders.


YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
MEETING on Monday 23rd at 8.30pm in the enterprise centre. Anyone interested in getting involved please come.


CROSSMOLINA ACTIVE RETIREMENT
GROUP activities as usual on Wednesday at 2pm in GAA Centre. Full attendance please.


ACTIVE AGE OVER 55’S
walking and aerobics for both women and men will continue each Tuesday morning in Crossmolina GAA Centre at 10.30am. New members welcome.


NORTH MAYO OLD ENGINE & TRACTOR CLUB

BRAINWAVE IRISH EPILEPSY ASSOCIATION
would like to thank all those who contributed to their recent church gate collection. A total of -  €639 was collected.


WORLD DAY OF SICK Saturday 11th February 2012 –
there will be a special Vigil Mass at 8pm in St. Tiernan’s for all the sick which will include anointing for sick.


BORD NA NOG (BOYS AND GIRLS) Quiz presentation night
in Hineys on Friday January 27th at 8pm. Club membership also taken on the night. €40 per play and €30 for U8’s.

SISTERS OF JESUS & MARY
celebrates the CENTENARY of the arrival of the congregation in Errew in 1912.  To acknowledge this occasion a Mass will be celebrated in St. Tiernan’s Church, Crossmolina at 8pm on February 3rd.  This will be followed by light refreshments in Crossmolina National School hall where a plaque will be unveiled to acknowledge this fact.  Everybody welcome.
