Harriet West R I P
The death occurred on Sunday 22nd January of Harriet West nee Cooke Abbey St Ballina. Her remains reposed at McGowans Funeral home on Tuesday with removal to St Michaels church for service at 3 O’clock with burial afterwards in Church grounds. Harriet was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur is survived by her Dauughters Valerie, Rosemary, and Jennifer, sons Arthur, Brian and Richard, sons – in – law, daughters – in – law, grandchildren, brother Billy Fortland Crossmolina, sister Iris McConkey Tempepatrick Co Antrim, sisters – in – law, brother – in – law, relatives and many friends may she rest in peace.

Their was no winner of the Crossmolina G A A club lotto jackpot on Saturday night January. The numbers were 3 – 13 – 16 – 20 three punters matched three numbers Pat McNulty Erris St Crossmolina, Meggan Sheridan Laherdane, Michelle Garvin Abbey Court Ballina. Each win €50. St Tiernan's Cemetery
A meeting of St Tiernan's Cemetery Committee will be held on Tuesday 7th February at 8pm in the Enterprise Centre. All committee members and persons interested in the further development/upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery please attend. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated. The death occurred on Tuesday 24th January at her residence of Clare McNeely 85 St Marys Park Crossmolina formerly of Bournemouth England and Main St Crossmolina. Her remains were removed from her residence on Thursday to St Tiernans Church for requiem Mass at 1pm with burial after wards in Crossmolina cemetery. Clare is survived by her sister Kathleen Doggort Bournemouth, brother Larry Abbeytown, brother – in – law, sisters – in - law nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, friends and neighbours may she rest in peace

Madge Cafferkey R I P
The death occurred peacefully on Sunday 22nd January of Madge Cafferkey at the Moyridge Nursing Home and formerly of 10 St Muredachs Terrace Ballina, Her remains were removed on Monday evening from McGowans Funeral home to St Muredachs Cathedral with burial on Tuesday in Kilmurray Cemetery after requiem mass. Madge is survived by her sisters Maureen Holmes and Teresa Fitzgerald Chicago, Biney Kennedy Galway, brothers Paddy and Tommy Chicago, Brendan Swinford Rd Foxford, Joe Ballina, sisters – in – law, brothers – in – law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours may she rest in peace

Jesus and Mary celebrate
The Sisters of Jesus and Mary celebrate the centenary of the arrival of the congregation to Errew in 1912. To acknowledge this occasion a Mass will be celebrated in St Tiernan's Church, Crossmolina @8pm on February 3rd. This will be followed by light refreshments in the National School Hall where a plaque will be unveiled to commemorate this fact. Everybody
