BENEFIT DANCE
in aid of Brian Keane (nephew of Breege O’Malley, Keenagh) who died as a result of a car accident in November 2011. 

A benefit dance will be held in Castlecourt Hotel, Westport on March 18th . Tickets €10 each. Ticket sellers will be calling door to door during the week.  Please support.

VEGETABLE AND HERB GARDENING COURSE
From February to August (on the first Saturday of each month) participants will be learning from a sample plot and polytunnel at Enniscoe Walled Garden. Participants will be brought through the growing season from Crop Planning, Ground Preparation, Soil Fertility, Bed Systems, Sowing, Planting, Pest and Disease Control, Weed Management etc ... It'll be a practical hands-on course with lots of helpful hints and tips given by Dermot Carey who was head Gardener at Lissadell House, is a frequent course-giver at The Organic Centre in Leitrim and was commended for his knowledge and experience in the Gardening Section of the Irish Times. SISTERS OF JESUS & MARY
celebrates the CENTENARY of the arrival of the congregation in Errew in 1912.  To acknowledge this occasion a Mass will be celebrated in St. Tiernan’s Church, Crossmolina at 8pm on February 3rd.  This will be followed by light refreshments in Crossmolina National School hall where a plaque will be unveiled to acknowledge this fact.  Everybody welcome.
