Vegatable and Herb Gardening Course
From February to August (on the first Saturday of each month 10am - 3pm )

participants will be learning from a sample plot and polytunnel at Enniscoe Walled Garden. Participants will be brought through the growing season from Crop Planning, Ground Preparation, Soil Fertility, Bed Systems, Sowing, Planting, Pest and Disease Control, Weed Management etc ... It'll be a practical hands-on course with lots of helpful hints and tips given by Dermot Carey who was head Gardener at Lissadell House, is a frequent course-giver at The Organic Centre in Leitrim and was commended for his knowledge and experience in the Gardening Section of the Irish Times.
