Chernobyl Children International Annual Table Quiz
The Annual Table Quiz in aid of Chernobyl Children International will take place on Saturday 25th of February 2012 at 9.30pm in Sticks Bar Crossmolina.
Funds raised on the night will be donated directly to the Hospice/Community Care Programmes in the Gomel Region of Belarus. This event is organised by Francis Gilroy, David Cagney, Claire Harte and Aoife Leonard. All support is greatly appreciated.
Mikie Hanahoe R I P
The death occurred suddenly at his residence on Monday 13th February of Mikie Hanahoe Carrowgarve Crossmolina. His remains were removed from Hiney’s Funeral Home on Wednesday evening to the Church of our Lady Kilmurray with burial on Thursday in the adjoining cemetery after requiem mass. Mikie is survived by his sisters Mary Walsh Edgeworthstown Longford, Nuala O’Dowd Dun Laoghaire, Margaret Tighe Tuam, brother Padraic Westport, brothers – in – law, sister – in – law, Nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, friends, colleagues in Bord Na Mona and neighbours may he rest in peace.

The death occurred on Saturday 11th February at Mayo General Hospital of Larry McNeely Abbeytown Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Mayo General Hospital on Sunday with removal to University Hospital Galway for Medical Research. Larry is survived by his sister Kathleen Doggort Bournmouth England, brother – in – law, sister – in – law, nephews, nieces, relatives extended family friends and neighbours may he rest in peace

Run for Your Wife
Crossmolina Drama Group return to the stage in the newly re-furbished Parish Hall in Crossmolina on the 23,24 and 25th March with their Two Act Comedy “Run for Your Wife” The Hilarious play is fast paced and has many twists and turns.
