Crossmolina defeated Belmullet by 3-17 to 3-5 and were always in control of this county under 12 league tie in St Tiernan’s Park on Monday with goals from Fiachra Walsh and Brian Moore and a string of points from Gerard Horan, John Mulhern, Brian Walsh and Jason Murphy.
Belmullet replied with goals from Paul Barrett and Gary Boylan to leave the half time score at 2-10 to 2-2. Further points from Mulhern Walsh and a goal from Brian Moore kept the Deelsiders well in front.
Paul Barrett grabbed a goal for the visitors late in the game.

Crossmolina 4-4, Moy Davitts 3-0. Crossmolina secured the points in the county under 12 grading league defeating Moy Davitts by 4-4 to 3-0 in Foxford on Sunday week after a great contest.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina GAA lotto jackpot on Saturday night, June 17. The numbers were 4, 5, 16 and 24. Bridie Fahy, Rosscahill, Galway, matched three numbers and won •150. The draw took place in Sticks Bar. Next week’s jackpot is •4850.
ORDAINED IN DUBLIN
John Ardis, son of Church of Ireland deacon Rev Ted Ardis, was ordained into the diaconate for the diocese of Dublin and Glendalough in Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin on Sunday June 18th, Father’s Day. Reverend Ted lived in Crossmolina for many years when he was deacon of the parish. Congratulations is extended from all your friends in the parish.
U14 B NORTH TITLE
Crossmolina won the North Mayo Under 14 B title with a hard earned two points win over Bonniconlon in Moygownagh on Tuesday last on a scoreline of 2-7 to 1-8.
This was the second B title for the club, the previous one was back in 1981. The large crowd was treated to an exciting game with never more than a couple of points separating the sides. Late points from Gerard Haran and Jason Donnelly secured the victory much to the delight of the large Deel Rovers following.
