The Championship had not been held in Ireland since 1989 but this year the selected venue was Necarne Castle, Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh.

Having qualified amongst the top 36 pony/rider combinations in Ireland the boys were selected to participate at the Championships.
The four all continued to do Crossmolina proud by being placed in the prizewinning lineup each day.
On day 1 Ronan (8) took 2nd place with his twin brother David taking 3rd. Day 2 saw Ronan finishing 1st with David coming 2nd. On day 3, the National final it was Luke (6) who was placed 4th overall.
