Crossmolina bids farewell to popular Curate, Fr. Pat
As Fr. Pat Munnelly C.C. bids farewell to Crossmolina parish after eight years ministry among us he is thanked by all for his dedication and generosity during that time. He was welcome in every house in the parish, and every organisation/school he was involved with is sad at his departure. We wish him well in the future.
We warmly welcome Fr. Michael Reilly, C.C., coming to us from Ballina, and pray that his ministry here may bring him joy and may be a channel of grace for the rest of us.

The death occurred on Wednesday August 6th of Annie Markham (nee) Quill, Newport Pagnall, Buckinghamshire, England and formerly of Dooleeg. Burial took place in Newport Pagnall. Annie pre-deceased by her husband harry is survived by her daughter Mary, son in law, sister Josephine brothers Mick and Finn, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

The committee are now appealing for articles, stories, poems, tributes etc., for this year's edition, also photographs of weddings, re-unions, old photographs etc. They can be given to any committee members as soon as possible.

NORMAN WOOD R.I.P.
The death occurred on Thursday August 14th at his residence of Norman Wood, Cloonamine House, Crossmolina. His remains were removed from his residence on Saturday for funeral service in St. Mary's church with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Norman is survived by his wife Violet, daughter Jacqueline, son Alan, son- in-law Rueben, daughter-in-law Vivian, grandchildren Nicholas and Emma, sister Betty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbors and friends. May he rest in peace.
There was no winner of the Crossmolina G.A.A. Lotto jackpot on Saturday night August 16th. The numbers drawn were 7, 8, 17, 32. No one matched three numbers and six names were drawn. The death occurred recently in Manchester of Seamus (Jimmy) Canavan formerly of Erris Street. Burial took place in Atherton. Seamus was pre deceased by his wife
Marian. He is survived by his sons Michael, Kevin and Tony daughters in law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
