RECYCLING SERVICE


Crossmolina Community Development in conjunction with Weee Ireland and Crossmolina Tidy Towns are delighted to offer a recycling facility to the Community free of charge. This facility is for small electrical items, we will accept anything with a plug. We also accept batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes. Items can be brought to the rear of the Enterprise Centre on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9.30 – 12pm. If you have any queries please contact 096 30934/30935 during office hours.

NATIONAL SPRING CLEAN IN CROSSMOLINA
Takes place over 2 WEEKENDS on Sat 22n and Sat 29th March starting in TOWN CENTRE from 10am till 12noon . We are asking all owners/occupants to clean the area in front of their premises. All footpaths and channels need to be swept as there is a lot of debris after the long winter. If you cannot be there on the day please do your bit any day before if possible. Please come out or send someone from your household /business to help.

In addition the Community bus is used for runs to Whist in Ballina,the Fr.Peyton centre Attymas,Tea dances in Kilmurray and to other Social activities as they arise.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina GAA club lotto jackpot on Saturday night the 8th March. The numbers were 3 – 13 – 21 – 27 Pauline Dunn Bofeenaun Ballina matched three numbers and won €150. Annie Kate O’Hara RIP
The death occurred on Friday 28th February at Mayo General Hospital of Ann (Annie Kate)’Hara Fiddaun Keenagh Ballina. Her remains reposed at Hineys Funeral home on Saturday evening with removal to the church of the Holy Souls Keenagh with burial on Sunday in Kilmurray Cemetery after requiem Mass. Annie Kate is survived by her sisters Mary Kelly California,   Breege Lynskey Rathmorgan Bangor Erris, Phil Fiddaun, brothers John Dublin, Martin Carrickmacross Co Monaghan, Mickie Fiddaun, brothers – in – law, sisters – in – law, Aunt Winnie Mangan St Marys Park, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.

Julia O’Hare RIP
The death occurred on Monday 24th February in Beaumont Hospital Dublin in her 96th Year of Julia O’Hare nee Lynn Skerries Co Dublin and formerly of Shanvolahan Dooleeg Crossmolina Burial took place in Glasvevin Cemetery Julia was pre-deceased by her Husband Jarlath a native of Co Down is survived by her Daughters Marie, Joan and Margaret, son Bernard, sons – in – law, daughter – in – law, nieces, nephews, relatives extended family friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.
