Eoin Short-listed for Award
Congratulations to Dr Eoin Syron Killacuraun Castlehill who has been shortlisted in The Irish Times Inter Trade Ireland Innovation Awards, Eoin is technical director with OxyMem based in Athlone is a finalist in the energy and environment category. In Total 18 Organisations have been selected from 136 entries from North and South. At a special awards ceremony on Wednesday 9th April one winner from each category will be announced with an additional overall winner of Innovation of the year. Each Category winner will secure a €10.000 media package with The Irish Times and an iPad The overall winner will receive a communications and Advertising package from The Irish Times worth €150.000 along with a UCD scholarship for an executive education programme commencing in 2015 and a state of the art Laptop.

Died in Philadelphia
The death occurred on Sunday 2nd February of Patrick Cawley in Upper Darby PA Philadelphia USA and formerly of Ballyscanlon Crossmolina. Burial took place in Philadelphia on Friday last. Patrick was pre-deceased by his Parents Charles and Cathleen nee Judge, sisters Maureen Rafter and Christina Moore, brother Cathal, is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Colleen, Maureen, Chrissy, Meghan, sons –in – law, grandchildren, brother Sean Philadelphia, sisters Ann Moore Philadelphia, Helen Gaughan Ballyscanlon, Margaret O’Brien Kildare, sisters – in – law, brothers – in – law, uncle Joseph Judge Ballyvicmaha, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, and many friends. May he rest in peace.
