The death occurred peacefully on Saturday 16th January of Henry O’Toole, Ardoley House, Ardoley, Westport, Co. Mayo and late of Inisturk Island and The Three Arches Bar, High Street, Westport Henry’s Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday 18th January in St Marys church with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery and was private to family members only. Sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy Nee Herbert Rathbane Crossmolina, son Michael, daughter Margaret (Birmingham), daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law James, grandchildren Michael (Washington), Darren, Michelle (Walsh) and her husband Sean, sisters Vera and Nora (England), Patricia and Phyllis (U.S.A.), brother Coleman (U.S.A.), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time. May his gentle soul rest in peace

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday night 16th January The numbers drawn were 2 – 15 – 28 – 34 no punters matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn Michael Kearns Carrowkilleen Crossmolina, John Judge Lancaster England, Lainey Jordan Judge Laherdane each win €50. This week’s jackpot is €9.300. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on this Wednesday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page.
Died in England
John Rowland St Albans and formally Castlehill, Crossmolina has passed away peacefully in his 103rd year. John was a very good hard-working builder and a gentleman who loved to live life to the full. He is greatly missed by his son’s John and Kevin, daughters Sharon and Geraldine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren sister – in – law Julie Rowland Castlehill, all his cousins in the Crossmolina parish and all his loving family, friends and neighbours. His funeral mass is in Saint Stephen’s Church, St. Albans on February 1st at 10 a.m. It would be streamed live via the church website. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamachra

The Late Geraldine Durkan.
The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday 20th January at the Galway clinic of Geraldine Durkan nee Judge Ballymoghany, Enniscrone and formerly of Ballyvicmaha Castlehill Crossmolina. Geraldine’s funeral mass was celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnor on Friday with burial afterwards in Killanley Cemetery. Geraldine predeceased by her father Joe, mother- in – law Margaret, Beloved wife of David, loving mother of Stephen, Aoife, Brian and Eoghan, Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, sons, mother Mary Joe (Judge), sister Ann Holmes (Knockmore), brother Willie Judge (Castlehill), father-in-law Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters – in – law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. Due to current Government and HSE guidelines Geraldine’s Funeral Mass was private to family only. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time. At the January Executive meeting of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club on Monday 18th January which was held online. The Intermediate Team management for 2021 was ratified with Brian Benson Manager selectors Michael Moyles Declan Clinton and Noel Ryan. They are wished the best of luck from all in the club
The Late Willie McGoff
Death occurred peacefully on Tuesday 19th January in his 87th year of William (Willie) McGoff at the Moyridge Nursing Home Ballina and late of Lecarrow Crossmolina. Requiem Mass for William was celebrated on Friday in St. Tiernan’s Church Crossmolina. Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. William was predeceased by his wife Eileen and daughter-in-law Frankie. Sadly missed and remembered by his children Liam (Carlow), Margaret Carolan (USA), Martin (Crossmolina) and Mary O’Hora (Knockmore), daughter-in-law Tonia, sons-in-law Slyvester and Eddie. Grandchildren William, Eoin, Katie, Shane, Síne, Áine, Éabha, Séan, Anthony, Aileen & Alice. Sisters Bridget and Angela. Nieces, Nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
