Lotto Results

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday night the 11th June. The numbers drawn were 6 – 10 – 28 – 31 two punters matched three numbers Darragh and Allison Quinn Bridge St Crossmolina, Aiden O’Donnell Dublin each win €75. The draw took place in Sticks Bar. This week’s Jackpot is €5,250.  The Committee would like to thank everybody for their continued support.

 

Girls Schools Final

Kilmurray National School put in a very brave performance in the Cumannn Na mBunscol Division 4 final against Irishtown in Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence at Bekan on Tuesday last the day was dull with a slight breeze which assisted the Kilmurray Girls in the first half but it was the Irishtown girls who scored first a goal from Holly Roche which came back of the Upright Lucy McDermott grabbed a second after the Break. Kilmurray fought back with a point from Emily Mulligan and goal from Kaela Jordan in between Lauren Melvin and Jessica Ferrick tacked on points to leave the South Mayo Girls deserving winners 2 – 2 to 1 -1. Balla 1 – 10 Crossmolina 1 – 8 

Crossmolina were unlucky to loose out to Balla in this county Division 2A League tie in Balla on Sunday week. A Fionan Duffy penalty which was saved by Matthew Flanagan early in the game left the visitors struggling until Mickie Loftus grabbed his sides goal to leave the half time score 1 – 7 to 1 – 2 Crossmolina had the better of the exchanges  second half with Fionan Duffy Cathal Carolan Nigal Caden pointing to leave just the two points separating the sides in the end. Kilmurray Girls Success

Congratulations to Kayleigh Coggins Crossmolina and Amy Doherty Ardagh who are members of Kilmurray Youth Soccer Club who were on the Mayo U14 Gaynor Plate winning team at the annual Gaynor Cup tournament at the University of Limerick. After a gruelling week of games Mayo emerged winners against Waterford after normal, extra time and penalty’s well done to all
