“VISION 2025”
Crossmolina Vision 2025……what’s it all about?……..Crossmolina Community Council in conjunction with the support of local community groups have the opportunity to acquire land which will benefit the community in the future, all part of “Vision 2025”. Since its formation in 1989 the CCC have undertaken projects which have proved beneficial to the area e.g. the purchase of Connors (now the library, tourist office, meeting rooms etc), the purchase of land which now facilitates the industrial estate, the lighting of the Gortnor Abbey looped walk, the development of the pier at Lough Conn and with the help of the community the purchase of this land on the Ballina Road adjacent to the GAA facilities will benefit the community with some of the proposals earmarked for the site including – a second GAA pitch, caravan/camping area, accommodation for the elderly, running track, community park, a site for community events (eg Crossmolina show, festival events etc).
We hope that people living locally and abroad will support the fund raising activities over the next year to bring to fruition a project that will benefit everyone. You can now donate online by visiting the “Crossmolina Vision 2025” facebook page
