John Cosgrove’s New Book
The second edition of Seoda Mhuigheo Thuaidh by John Cosgrove has just been published. This book is a sort of ‘from the needle to the anchor’ compendium. We have pisreoga, paidreacha, beannachtaí, mallachtaí, focla agus seanfhocla with English translations. Unfortunately, several of the listed terms i nGaeilge, in this book, are in danger of extinction and some have become obsolete in Gaeltacht areas of Muigheo Thuaidh.
