There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 10th August. The numbers drawn were 15 – 21 – 29 – 32 Michael and Dervla Hegarty Lecarrow Crossmolina matched three numbers and won €150

Crossmolina Community Council CLG
A vacancy has arisen with Crossmolina Community Council CLG, Community Services Programme for one General Operative for the provision of community services for the elderly. This is a permanent, part time position, 19.5 hours per week based at The Enterprise Centre, Crossmolina.
Duties include; preparing, cooking and dispatching Meals on Wheels and organising Crossmolina Day Centre activities. Good teamwork is essential, flexibility will be necessary and will include out of office hours. Computer skills are essential and a Full Drivers Licence is desirable. CSP qualifying criteria applies.

The Late Tommy O’Boyle
The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday 7th August at Mayo University Hospital Castlebar of Tommy O’Boyle St Marys Park Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Friday evening with removal to St Tiernan’s Church Crossmolina requiem mass on Saturday with burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Tommy is survived by his brothers Vincent Knockfree, and Gerard Sunbury on Thames England, sisters Francis Melvin Preston England, Mary Boseman Florida, sisters – in – law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours. May he rest in peace.
Mayo Ladies in to Semi-Finals.
Thanks to outstanding contribution of Rachel Kearns McHale/Rovers Mayo Ladies over came Armagh in Longford on Saturday Week. Mayo now face arch Rivals Galway in the All-Ireland Semi-Final in Croke Park on Sunday Next 25th August. Here’s wishing all the Team the Best of Luck

The summer reading challenge at Crossmolina Library is drawing to a close on August 31st. It has been running for the months of July, August Boys and Girls, please get your completed cards, and book reviews back to the Library in time. Died in San Francisco.
The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday 31st July in San Francisco USA of Charles O’Brien formerly of Erris St Crossmolina. Burial will take place in Crossmolina Cemetery during the coming week. His sister Mary Mulholland Kilkeel Co Down, brothers Joe, Neal, and Michael all in Crossmolina, sister survive Charles – in – law, nieces, nephews, relations, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace

Sarah Captains Ireland to Gold.
Congratulation to Sarah Melvin Castlehill who created a Historic first for a Mayo and Irish Women when she Captained Ireland’s Lady’s Team that won the 2019 European Ultimate Frisbee Championship (EUC) held in Gyor Hungary in July. Sarah a former Student of Gortnor Abbey where she won All-Ireland Basketball medal with team and also excelled at Hockey and Athletics.
