Lotto Results

Their was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 5th August. The numbers drawn were 4 – 6 – 9 – 34 one punter matched three numbers Aidan O’Malley Keenagh and won €150. The draw took place in The Thatch Bar. This week’s Jackpot is €5,850. Crossmolina 4 – 3 Ardnaree 2 – 7

Crossmolina advanced to the North Mayo U14 Championship final after a titanic Battle with Ardnaree in Sean Duffy Park on a damp misty Thursday evening last week. Eanna O’Boyle gave the visitors the perfect start with a goal after five minutes, Dylan Lavelle Crossmolina Ronan Lynch and Jack Forde swopped points before Dylan Keane raised his sides second green flag after eighteen minutes. Ronan Lynch and Jack Forde replied with points each before Farnan Munnelly converted  the Deel-Siders penalty in the 27th minute. Ardnaree fought back and were awarded a penalty which Alex made a brilliant save from Oisin Heffron to leave the score at the break 3 – 2 to 0 – 4. With the backs on top scores were hard to come by after a Dylan Keane free deceived the Ardnaree goalkeeper and sneaked inside the post under the crossbar after six minuets to extend the lead. An Ardnaree penalty converted by Jack Ford after 45 minutes gave his side a new lease of life. Ronan Lynch pointed before Donnacha Judge tacked on a point and a goal for the Moy siders. Dylan Keane and Oisin Hefferon swopped points to leave just two separating the sides and Crossmolina had to defend with all their might in those final minuets to secure the win. Crossmolina team and scorers were Alex Kenny, Gavin Lavelle, Eanna O’Boyle 1 – 0, Joseph Howley, Conor Howley, Evan Molloy, Ruari McGuinness, Peadar Fergus, Tom Burke, Luke Loftus, Dylan Keane 2 – 1, Aaron Donnellan, Joe Fergus, Dylan Lavelle 0 – 2 and Fannan Munnelly 1 – 0.
