The late Tom McNulty 

The death occurred peacefully at his residence on Tuesday 11th June at his residence of Tom McNulty St Patricks Ave Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Wednesday Evening. Requiem mass on Thursday in St Tiernans Church with Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Tom is survived by his wife Teresa, daughter Carol, sons James, Thomas and Gary, brother James Killala, sister Bernadette Dublin, son – in law Martin,  daughters – in – law Allison and Joey,  grandchildren Isobel, Ollie, Ava, Liam, Ciara, and Evie, sisters – in – law,  brothers – in – law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. 

 

Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 8th June. The numbers drawn were 2 – 8 – 12 – 22 five punters matched three number Gerard Haran Coolturk Crossmolina, Veronica Loftus Rathmore Crossmolina Jack and Eileen Rowland Castlehill Ballina, Ronan and Regina O’Boyle Ballina Rd Crossmolina, Cian Naughton Roo Gort Co Galway each win €30. The draw took place in Maughan Bar. This weeks Jackpot is €6,000. Many thanks for all your support

 

Céili In Town Hall.

On this Saturday 22nd June starts at 9 – 30 sharp Music by Eddie Lee and his Kingdom Céili Band. Refreshments served  

 

Parish Cruise 27/28th June 2020 MSC Gradiosa New Ship

Information night in Hiney’s Upper Deck on Wed 19 June @ 8pm.  Bookings and Deposit of €250 per person can be given on the night.

 

Parish Trip to Tralee:  

Balance is now due for the Parish Trip to Tralee in October.  Balance must be paid by 4 July 2019 to Fr Francis/Parish Office.

 

Day Centre Bingo

Crossmolina Day Centre Bingo will take place on Wednesday 19th June, 2 – 4pm in the Social Service Centre. The Community Bus will be available. All welcome!

 

Nephin Festival 

The winners of the Tops Of The Town heat no. 4 were Darragh Monaghan and Cian Donnelly from Killala and they will now represent O’Malley’s in the final on July 21st.  The next heat takes places this Friday night, June 21st, in Christy’s Bar, free to enter, €100 prize on the night, call 087 9120680 for details.  The Nephin Festival launch will take place in the new Civic Centre on Fri. June 28th at 8pm, summer brochure will be available along with all information on festival events and registration for free events will be open. Tickets on sale now for Liam Lawton’s Church Concert (available at Centra and Gala), also the Real Magic Queen Tribute concert tickets (available in Londis, Maughan’s Bar and online at Ticketmaster).

 

Bonfire night Meeting

A meeting will be held on Tuesday at 9.30pm in Kilmurry Centre to organize the Bonfire Night Party .Lots of helpers are needed.

 

Kilmurry Bonfire

The annual Kilmurry Bonfire Night Party will take place on Sunday next 23rd June at 8.30pm. Music, free burgers, raffle and sideshows.  A great family night out

 

U14 Championship

Crossmolina U14 team had a comfortable win over Balla in the County Championship on Thursday evening last played in damp conditions the Visitors  raced into  a four points lead with two points each from Jack Naughton and James Maheady before Ballas Oisin Jordan pointed Patrick Duffy rattled the net game on  minuets later Richie Shelly replied with a goal for Crossmolina further points from Diarmuid Fox Jack Naughton and  Richie Shelly kept the score board ticking over   Conor Nolan reduced the lead with a goal to leave the half time score 1-9 to 2-2 Crossmolina dominated the second half  with James Maheady and Kyle Gallagher scoring three points each James O’Boyle and Diarmuid fox goals each Jack Naughton Matthew Williams and Oisin Deane points each in between Conor Nolan scored two points and David Dolan scored a goal to leave the final score 3-18 to 3-4. Before the Game a minuets silence was observed for the late Tom McNulty who was manager of Many Successful U14 over the years

Christine Gibson RIP

The death occurred peacefully on Saturday 8th June of Christine Gibson Eskeragh Crossmolina. Requiem mass on Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Mercy Eskeragh with burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Christine is survived by her husband Dave, daughters Michelle, Pamela, and Karen, brothers, sisters, brothers – in – law, sister – in – law, nephews, nieces, relations, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace

 

Kilmurry Parent and Toddler Group

Takes place every Tuesday morning in the Community Centre from 11am to 1pm. €4 per family. Come along for a cup of tea and a chat while the Children play. All are welcome  

 

Nephin Athletic Club

Training From Keenagh School every Thursday evening at 6pm. Athletic training for Juveniles and Senior Athletics. Newcomers Welcome. All levels catered for. Please support your new club Tel 087.9018052
