Cash for Clobber at Ballina Family Resource Centre

We are doing a Cash for Clobber as a Fundraiser for the Centre, your support would be greatly appreciated. If you need bags we have some in the centre, just drop in and collect them. Nephin Festival
Well done to singing and music duo, Lisa Lavelle & Kyle Hampson who won the first heat of “Tops Of The Town 2019”, they will now represent Cawley’s Pub, Rakestreet in the final. Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC
Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre. Crossmolina gained two precious League points in this County Division two game at Tiernans Park. After an error ridden opening half in which both sides we guilty of poor shooting Crossmolina scored the opening four points from Fionan Duffy three the first after six minuets and one from Keith Hopkins in the 10th minuet before Ballinrobe opened their account in the 15th minuet from Stephen Burke Fionan Duffy and Evan O’Brien exchanges points in the 21st minuet Evan O’Brien struck over two points one from a free in the 26th minuet and another two minuets later Tommy Walsh had the last score of the half on the stroke of time a point to leave the score 0 -6 to 0-4 in favour of the hosts. Cathal Carolan extended the lead with a point which Evan O’Brien cancelled out immediately two further points from Fionan Duffy in the 37 and 38 minuets kept the home supporters happy. Ross Philbin pointed minuets later and Fionan Duffy replied again with a point from play out on the left wing. Cathal Carolan drove over two points from open play and Evan O’Brien reduced the lead back to four points with two similar scores for Ballinrobe Fionan Duffy pointed a free and John. Enda Flannelly closed the scoring with a point. After well contested game of many mistakes with both sides wearing similar colours it was difficult at times distinguish between the players a specially in the glaring sunshine
