There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday 12th June. The numbers drawn were 3 – 6 – 9 – 25 four punters matched three numbers. Thomas and Catherine Loftus Freehen Crossmolina, Jarlath and Mary Fergus Killocraun, Mary. Jo. O’Malley Castlehill Fionn and Oisin C/o Mary Corcoran Mullenmore Rd Crossmolina they share the €150 prize. This week’s Jackpot is €12,450. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. The Committee would like to thank you for your continued support

Sweeney Cup 2021
Crossmolina Intermediate football team got their first action of the season in the Sweeny Cup on Saturday week with a win over visitors Ardnaree. Crossmolina got off to lightning start with a Goal from Dean Loftus and point from Diarmuid Walsh by the first quarter the visitors had come back with a string of pints from John Timlin Ronan O’Malley Jonathan Doherty and Michael Laurence with Fionan Duffy and Robert Murphy tacking on points each. After the water break Fionan Duffy and Kevin Mulhern pointed for the hosts and Jonathan Doherty replied with a point to leave the half time score 1 – 5 to 0 -7. Fionan Duffy pointed after the break and Diarmuid Walsh grabbed a goal after 40 minutes which Harry Regan and Eoin McCormack replied with points each the final quarter was a shoot out between Fionan Duffy with three points and John Timlin five points in between Mickie Loftus raised a whit flag for the Deel-Siders to leave the final score 2 – 11 to 0 – 15. On terrible evening in Bangor with wind and rain Crossmolina and Erris St Pats served up a very entertaining game. Crossmolina were in control throughout but the Erris boys with C Ginley and Josh Carey providing the greatest threat it was only in the last ten minutes when Oisin Dean grabbed a goal and two pints that the Deel-Siders were assured of the win.
