There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday night the 13th August. The numbers drawn were 8 – 16 – 29 – 30. Sean and Helen Keane Carrowcloughy Won the top prize of €10,000 in the Mayo GAA Club Development draw which took place in Cill Chomain GAA Club on Saturday week. P. Balla were in control from the start of this county U17 Championship with two goals inside the opening seven minutes from Oisin Cronin and Liam Glynn they followed this up this with a string of points from Conor Nolan Oisin Cronin Luke Flaherty and James Nolan Crossmolina’s Jack Naughton replied with three points. The visitors had the assistance of the breeze in the second half but could only muster four points from Billy Loftus Diarmaid Fox James O’Boyle and James Maheady. Balla’s Oisin Cronin tacked on two points and Liam Glynn one to run out comfortable winners. Aghamore had the greater share of the play in the first half of this U15 Championship tie in Aghamore on Tuesday last after rattling in a goal after three minutes from David Delaney and quickly tacked on points from Derry Og Cox. Kobe McDonald replied with a point in the 12th minute for the visitors further points from Derry Og Cox and Ian Murray extended the lead out to eight points before a Kobe McDonald goal and two points in the last six minutes of the half to leave the score at the break 1 – 6 to 1 – 3. Oisin Deane and Derry Og Cox swopped points before Luke Williams and Simon Byrne exchanged goals and Derry Og Cox raised a third green Flag for the East Mayo boys before a six points scoring spree from the Deel-Siders Ethan Reilly Sean Heffernan Dylan Flynn Josh Moyles one each and two from Joey Keane to tie the score. After game both sides missed many scoring chances and Crossmolina’s goalkeeper Gorgie Gordetskyy was called on to make at least three goal bound saves over the hour.
