Crossmolina had a comfortable win over Erris St Pats goals in the 17th and 25th minuets from the Caden brothers Darren and Nigal gave the home side the plat form to build up a half time score of 2-5 to 0-5 with Adam Carabine the scorer in chief for Erris St Pats Boys. National Schools Mini 7’s
Crossmolina National School had a comfortable 4-8 to 0-3 win over the Quay School in the Semi-final of the Ballina area section Mini 7’s in Sean Duffy Park Ardnaree on Wednesday of last week and went on to record a similar win over Currabaggan NS Knockmore in the final 5-10 to 0-3. They now go forward to play the winner of the Erris section

Died in Dublin
The death occurred peacefully in the Gascoigne Nursing Home on Monday 22nd October of James (Jim) Davis Ranelagh Dublin late of Bridge St Crossmolina brother of the late Anthony Davis. Removal on Wednesday from Quinn’s of Glasthule to the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue Upper, Dublin 6. Funeral on Thursday after Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery. Jim is survived by his wife Martina, sisters Vivienne and Marion, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.

At the executive meeting of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club on Tuesday night congratulation was extended to Belmullet club on winning the county Intermediate Title after a lapse of 44 years and also to Manager Damien Mulligan and Physio David Walsh and Good Luck in the Connacht Championship. Best wishes was also extended to Joe Keane who has joined the Sligo coaching staff, Stephen Rochford with Donegal and Gerard O’Malley with Offaly
