The Late Arthur John Wills.

The death occurred peacefully at his residence on Tuesday 19th December of Arthur. John Wills Ballyholan Downhill Rd Ballina, formerly of Moylaw Crossmolina and Upper Garden St Ballina. His remains reposed at McGowan’s funeral Home on Thursday evening with removal to St Michaels Church Ballina funeral service on Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Arthur is survived by his wife Eleanor, sons David and Stanley, daughters Ruth and Michele, sister Ethel, Sons-in-law Seamus and Damon, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends. At Rest. 

 

Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 23rd December. The numbers were 8 – 11 – 13 – 22 five punters matched three numbers Mary Daly Church View Crossmolina, John Maughan Mount Gregory Castlebar, Jim and Ann Timoney Fotish Crossmolina, Damien and Caroline Lavin Church View Crossmolina, Caroline Jordan Enniscoe Castlehill each win €30. The draw took place in Thatch Bar. This week’s jackpot is €6,150. Many thanks for your continued support and wishing all our supporters a very happy new year.

 

Bridge Results.

Crossmolina Bridge results for Thursday night 14th December were 1st Rita Fox and Ena Coggins 2nd Mary Corcoran and Teresa McNulty 3rd Breda and John Mulkearns 4th Nuala Doyle and Maureen Barrett. The members of our club wish all their supporters and friends a very happy new year.  

 

Recent Death’s.

Sympathy is extended to the families of Martin Needham Aillennan Louisburgh brother of Catriona Lavelle Keenagh, Declan Davitt Curradavitt Louisburgh following a tragic accident, Bridget Ruane Leeds and late of Comminch Castlehill, Ena Hazel Nee Rowland in England formerly of Derra Bellacorick, Eamon Connor father of Eamon Connor Ballina and Dublin. May they rest in peace.

 

Kilmurray Card Results.

Died in Leeds

The death occurred peacefully recently in Leeds of Bridget Ruane late of Comminch Castlehill. Funeral mass in The Church of Our Lady Kilmurray on Sunday 7th January at 11am.With burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Bridget was predeceased by her brothers Joe, Jack and Mick is survived by her sisters Biney Harrison Leeds, Sr Mary. Agnes Claremorris, brother Paddy Leeds, sisters – in – law, nieces, nephews, relations, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace
