BNM / ESB News.
As part of the Bangor Festival 2018, it has been decided to hold a BNM & ESB gathering of personnel in Bangor Hall on Friday August 3rd 2018 at 8pm.
The idea came about because we live right in the middle of ESB & BNM country. Some committee members worked for one company or the other. All committee members would have family connections who worked for these 2 companies back in the day. In an era where it’s easy for people to become cut off from friends and workmates we thought a night like this would help rekindle old friendship’s, help people to reconnect with old friends and perhaps swap phone numbers & email addresses! We are currently looking for old photographs, newspaper cuttings, memorabilia and artifacts from both companies. If you have any old photographs we would be delighted to receive them. All items will be returned. There will be refreshments, food and music on the night.
Anybody with any interest or connection to either company is cordially invited to attend along with friends, relatives and families. Local residents are also invited to attend what we hope will be a very special night. Please accept this invitation to attend, as we cannot possibly get in touch with everyone individually. Spread the word by any means you have.
.Thank you, The Bangor Festival committee.
