Badminton winners

Congratulations to James Loftus Mayo U13  “C” Singles Championship winner.  We are also delighted to say that Eoin O’Boyle is Mayo U17 “D” Singles Championship winner. Our adult badminton is starting soon so keep playing everyone

And a very Happy Christmas to all our members and committee.  Hope Santa is good to everyone.

 

Kilmurray Card Results. 

The following are the results of the Weekly Kilmurray 25 card drive on Thursday night 29th November 1st A three way tie Aidan and Evelyn Crowley, Bernie Gilroy and Frank Heffernan, Tony Cleary and David McNamara. 2nd Helen and Sean Keane 3rd A tie Brendan Flynn and Kevin O’Boyle, Michael Granaghan and John Naughton. Raffle 1st Evelyn Crowley 2nd Martin Garrett 3rd Eugene Granahan 

 

Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 1st December. The numbers were 8 – 23 – 28 – 31 two punters matched three numbers Mary O’Boyle Carrowcloughy Crossmolina, Michael McDermott Rathnamagh Crossmolina each win €75. The draw took place in Maughan. This week’s jackpot is €3,300. Many thanks for your continued support 

 

The Late Mary Gilroy.

The death occurred peacefully on Thursday 29th November at her residence of Mary Gilroy nee Harte Tubridge Keenagh. Her remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Friday evening with removal to Church of the Holy Souls, Keenagh. Requiem Mass on Saturday with Burial afterwards in Kilmurry Cemetery. Mary was predeceased her husband Peter, is survived by her daughter Mary, sons John and Peter, daughter – in – law, son – in – law, grandchildren Ciara, Patrick, Keith and Cillian, relatives, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace

Contact us if you need any small jobs to be done before the visitors arrive for the festive season.  We will also stock sheds with winter fuel, clear the yard and the garden, clean guttering and carry out repairs. NO NAME CLUB.

We are so pleased that the NO NAME CLUB has restarted. Registration will continue on tonight Monday December 10th at 8pm in Western Care Centre, opposite Gala. 15-18 year olds welcome. Fun trips planned, Ice Rink in Castlebar, Valentine’s Ball in Claremorris and any suggestions from participants will be considered. Come along and join us.

 

Day Centre Christmas Music Evening.

Come along to a special pre Christmas evening of music and dance on Wednesday 19th December in the Town Hall. Our refreshments will be seasonal, so get ready for a few tipples and treats. The Community Bus will run for far and local requests. Music by Pat’s Roadshow. Plan ahead, ‘looking forward to seeing you there!
