Michael Walsh League.
Breaffy 1- 14 Crossmolina 1 – 13
Crossmolina were unfortunate to loose out in this Michael Walsh League in Breaffy after leading throughout. A Declan Toner goal and a point in the final minuets secured the points after a well contested game played in windy conditions. Crossmolina held the upper hand in the opening half thanks to a string of points from Robert Murphy Conor Caden Shane McKinley and Declan Gilroy and Edward Gough goal in the 26th minuet. Ben Murphy was most effective for Breaffy kicking some lovely points from play and frees Crossmolina lead by 1-6 to 0-4 at the break. Edward Gough tacked on a point in the 32 minuet and it was fourteen minuets before J.P. Mulhern struck over two points for the visitors in as many minuets Ben Murphy kept the Breaffy scoreboard ticking over. With further points from Patrick Loftus Robert Murphy Ronan McDermott and a Shane McKinley free it looked like securing the points for the Deel-Siders until Declan Toner late strike
