There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 1st September. The numbers were 1 – 7 – 9 – 26 two punters matched three numbers Padraic and Shirley Whittaker 12 River Walk Crossmolina, Gregory Hegarty Dooleeg Crossmolina each win €75. The Draw took place in the Thatch Bar. This weeks Jackpot is €11,550. Many thanks for all your support
U16 Championship.
Crossmolina advanced to the final of the north Mayo U16 Championship final with a two points win over Bonniconlon at Tiernans Park. In a game of fast flowing football Enda Conlon grabbed two points for the visitors with Diarmuid Coggins and Killian Fergus raising whit flags for the hosts before Lorcan Conlon drilled the ball past a helpless Conor Reynolds Crossmolina kept clawing their way back with points from Diarmuid Walsh Killian Fergus before another sweeping move by Bonniconlon ended with Michael Gilmartin finding the net and the same player quickly added a point a Sean Hegarty goal and a point from Diarmuid Walsh to leave the half time score 2-5 to 1-7 It was tit for tat for the final thirty minuets with Lorcan Conlon the main threat scoring five points Diarmuid Walsh pointed to cancelling out a like score from Conlon. In the 45th minuet Jonathan Murtagh score a but this was quickly cancelled out with a like score from Michael Gilmartin a string a points from Jonathan Murtagh Michael Gill Niall Coggins and Diarmuid Walsh Conlon kept the score tight with his points but in the end Crossmolina held on for a two points win 2 -15 to 3-10

Exercise classes for women take place every Wednesday morning from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Ardnaree. The group enjoy a chat and catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee after the exercise. New members welcome. Ring 096 75573 for more info.

Badminton Resumes
Crossmolina Badminton club resumes on Wednesday 19th September. Primary School 7-8pm, secondary school 8-9pm and Adults 9pm -10pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our AGM which we are holding before this starting date on Tuesday 11th September at 9pm in O’Malley’s. Congratulations to Ailish Mulhern Cuilacurrane and Darren McDonagh Killala Rd Ballina who were married in Bonniconlon church recently with reception in Loughrynn Castle, Maresa Hanahoe Dublin daughter of Liam and Ursola Dublin and formerly of Carrowgarve and Edward Lynam Uk who were married in the Church of our Lady Kilmurray with reception in the Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone.
