Kilmurray Card Results. 

The following are the results of the Weekly Kilmurry 25 card drive on Thursday night Best of 20 games 1st Vincent Crowley and Tom O’Boyle. 2nd A tie Michael McAndrew and Michael Cawley, Tom O’Malley and Leo Ryan. Dancing in Eskeragh.

Social Dancing in Eskeragh Old School House is on each Tuesday night starting 8pm to 10pm. Come along and support. All are welcome

 

Exercise Classes.

Legs, Bums & Tums continues Wednesday 6:45pm – 7:15pm Crossmolina Deelrovers Meeting room. New 6 week course starting 13th March. Suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced, Limited places, contact Bernie, Erris Fitness to pre-book place on:- 086  3904370. This is a quick but very effective class

 

Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC

Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety.  The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre. Exercise for Women

Exercise classes for women take place every Wednesday morning from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Ardnaree.  The group enjoy a chat and catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee after the exercise.  New members welcome.  Ring 096 75573 for more info.

 

Dementia Dance Club.

Community Action on Dementia is a FREE dance club for people living with dementia and their families/carers being run in the Ballina Family Resource Centre every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.00 pm.  Light refreshments served.  Ring Francis on 0868366312 for more info.

 

Festival of Lights.

Festival Brochures are now available in local outlets.  Thank you to everyone that has registered to enter for the Electric Light Parade, if you are still thinking about taking part please register before 6pm tomorrow evening (Tuesday) by calling 087 1871552.   There will be a fire and light performance by “Those Fire Guys” preceding this years Parade best viewing area will be between Hicksons and the Library.  If you would like the name(s) of any deceased family or friends to be remembered during the “Floating Candles Of Remembrance” please place their name(s) in the buckets provided in Londis, Centra, Gala and all Parish Churches.  All contributions donated will go towards Crossmolina Cemetery

 

St Patricks Day Parking

Please note there will be parking restrictions in Crossmolina from 4pm on St. Patrick’s Day and it would be appreciated if no vehicles are parked along the parade route, from Mulherns Gala to the Garda station

 

Deel-Rovers GAA Club Activity’s 

Crossmolina low impact Active 55’s group runs every Tuesday 12pm to 1pm in Deel-Rovers GAA main hall, with a social cup of tea afterwards. Group activities include walking, light aerobic and muscle endurance exercises, weight bearing, balance, coordination, flexibility, toning, joint mobility, stretching, and relaxation/meditation, in a fun relaxed atmosphere. Sweeney Cup.

Crossmolina had a comfortable win over visitors Belmullet in the North Mayo Sweeney Cup third round tie on Sunday week. Bord na nÓg Awards Night:

The annual Bord na nÓg Awards evening will take place on Wednesday the 20th March 2019 at 7.30pm in the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Sports Hall. Special guest on the night is our own Conor Loftus. Please support this annual event.

  

SAFETALK – SUICIDE ALERTNESS FOR EVERYONE – TELL, ASK, LISTEN, KEEP SAFE 

Crossmolina Deelrovers GAA in partnership with the HSE is hosting Safe TALK training on Wednesday 3rd April (6:30pm – 10pm – Crossmolina Deelrovers GAA Clubrooms)

Safe Talk teaches participants to recognize and engage persons who might be having thoughts of suicide and to connect them with community resources trained in suicide intervention. Safe TALK stresses safety while challenging taboos that inhibit open talk about suicide. McHale Rovers off to a winning start in 2019.

McHale Rovers Adult ladies team played Cill Chomain in the new adult ladies competition on Sunday week. McHale Rovers won with a score line of 4-16 to 0-2.

Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 2nd March. The numbers drawn were 10 – 13 – 15 – 24 no punter matched three numbers either and six tickets were draw Patrick Moran Lecarrow Crossmolina, Patrick Fox Turlough Castlebar, Mark Ormsby Fotish Crossmolina, Shane McKinley Abbey View Crossmolina Christy and Elizabeth Donnelly Carrowkilleen Crossmolina, Maura O’Malley Castlehill. Each win €25. The draw took place in O’Malley’s Bar and Grill. This week’s Jackpot is €3,900. Many thanks for your continued support
