Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 3rd November. The numbers drawn were 8 – 22 – 25 – 29 two punters Matched three numbers. Patrick Loftus Castlehill and Martin Loftus Ballinlabaun each win €75. The Draw took place in O’Malley’s Bar and Grill. This weeks Jackpot is €12,900. Many thanks for all your support

 

Crossmolina Day Centre Bingo

Congratulation to Brendan Hughes Carrowkilleen and Jennifer Carter who were married in Holy Cross Church Ashton Keynes recently. They are wished many years of good health and Happiness from their many friends.

Bridge Club AGM.

The following members were elected at the annual General meeting of Crossmolina Bridge Club. President Ena Coggins Vice President Padraic Langan, Secretary Mary Corcoran, Treasurer Maureen Barrett. Tournament Director’s Nuala Doyle and Maureen Barrett

 

Gortnor Abbey Fund Raiser. 

A Sale of New and Nearly new Women’s clothes/shoes/jewellery etc as well Makeup Demos/ Skincare Advice/ Nail Bar and other Fun Activities will take place in Gortnor Abbey on Friday November 16th. Donations of clothes now being accepted at the school by Ms Durkan/ Ms Judge. Don’t miss this opportunity to bag a bargain. Wine Reception 8pm. Tickets €10 on sale

Interested in Running/Athletics

An experienced qualified athletics coach is holding a meeting in Keenagh NS   Thursday Nov 15th 8 pm with intention of setting up a new athletics group in the area. Meeting is open to all in Keenagh/Kilmurray area who might be interested

now.

Senior Alert Scheme – Panic Button

Are you in fear of falling, being attacked or broken into in your own home, have a health condition that concerns you? Are you age 65 or older and living alone, living with another person who meets the eligibility criteria, living alone for significant periods of time during the day, or is a carer to someone else in their household, If so you could be entitled to a free Personal Alarm Panic Button.  (Monitoring fees are free for 1st year). For more information please call in or ring The Ballina Family Resource Centre on 096 75573.

 

Cash for Clobber 

If you are clearing out your home please drop the clothes, shoes, bags etc into the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Abbey Street, Ardnaree. We are doing a Cash for Clobber as a Fundraiser for the Centre, your support would be greatly appreciated.  If you need bags we have some in the centre, just drop in and collect them. Exercise for Women

Exercise classes for women take place every Wednesday morning from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Ardnaree.  The group enjoy a chat and catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee after the exercise.  We have a loyalty scheme in place.  New members welcome.  Ring 096 75573 for more info. 

 

Dementia Dance Club

Community Action on Dementia is a FREE dance club for people living with dementia and their families/carers being run in the Ballina Family Resource Centre every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.00 pm.  Light refreshments served.  Ring Francis on 0868366312 for more info.

 

Mayo/Roscommon Hospice

Our recent Coffee day raised €1,280.00. We would like to thank the Davis Family for the use of their store, Enda Hiney for furniture and all who supported us in many ways. Thanks also to Eileen and Jack Rowland Castlehill who donated €805 raised at their Coffee Day   

 

Garrett Cup

Laherdane ran out comfortable winner in this annual Padraic Garrett memorial cup at a wet and windy Bofeenaun on Saturday week goals from Shane Loftus Adrian Leonard and Aodhan Cronin gave the home side a decisive advantage playing against the strong breeze in the opening half a Tommy Walsh goal and five points from Fionan Duffy still left the Deel-Siders with a big task after break trailing by 4-4 to 1-5. Crossmolina played much better after the break with Fionan Duffy shooting 1-8 Laherdane maintained their composure and retained the Cup with 4-12 to 1-13 win and give their manager John Maughan perfect send off to manage Offaly after a couple of great years with club
