Lotto Results

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday 23rd November. The numbers were 10 – 25 – 27 – 33 no punter matched three numbers either and three tickets were drawn. Eddie Grehan St Marys Park Crossmolina, P.J. and Patricia Hughes Carrowkilleen Crossmolina and Aoife Murphy Castlehill Ballina each win €50. The draw took place in Hiney’s. This week’s Jackpot is €9,600. Many thanks for all your support  

 

Kilmurray Christmas Party 

The Annual Kilmurray Christmas Party is on next Sunday 8th December. Starting with Mass for the Deceased at 6 O’clock followed by social and dancing to Gerry Rowland

Dementia Dance Club

Community Action on Dementia is a FREE dance club for people living with dementia and their families/carers. It is held in the Ballina Family Resource Centre every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.00 pm.  Light refreshments served.  Ring Francis on 0868366312 for more info.

Exercise for Women

Exercise classes for women take place every Wednesday morning from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Ardnaree. The group enjoy a chat and catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee after the exercise.  New members welcome.  Ring 096 75573 for more info.

 

Crossmolina Day Centre Bingo

Crossmolina Day Centre bingo will take place on Wednesday 4th December 2-4pm in The Civic Centre Mullenmore Street, Crossmolina. The Community bus will be available. Light refreshments will be served. All welcome.

 

Paddy Joe Garrett RIP

The death occurred peacefully on Saturday 23rd November at the District Hospital Ballina of Paddy. Joe Garrett Castlehill. His remains reposed at Leonards Funeral Home Laherdane on Monday evening with removal to St Patricks Church Laherdane. Requiem Mass on Tuesday burial afterwards in Kilmurray Cemetery. Paddy. Joe was predeceased by his wife Kathleen and son Padraic. Deeply mourned by his son’s Martin, Michael and Gerard, daughters Maureen, (McCormack) and Nora (Coughlan) and Brother John Commons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law Mike Philbin Glenisland, sister – in – law Nora Thornton USA, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace

Well Done Ladies 

Congratulation and Well Done to McHale/Rovers Ladies who did us all so proud in their all-Ireland final defeat against the very experienced Donoughmore of Cork on a day when all the luck deserted them. The huge crowd of supporters who greeted the team bus on its arrival back in Ardagh, Crossmolina and Laherdane was a fitting tribute to the team and mentors for their heroic performance and for all the pleasure they have given the whole area during a very successful Mayo and Connacht Campaign

Bernie Corrigan RIP

The Death occurred suddenly on Wednesday 20th  November at his residence of Bernie (Bernard) Corrigan Enaghbeg Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Saturday evening. Requiem  Mass on Sunday with Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Bernie son of the late Brian and  Margaret, brother of the late Paddy, Mary, Johnny and Angela. Deeply mourned by his loving sister’s Janie Foster (Manchester), Peggy Carden (Manchester), Theresa Walsh (Manchester), Breege  Halligan (Castlebar), Pauline Browne (Massbrook, Bofeenaun), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, grandnieces, relatives, friends and Neighbours. May he rest in peace
