There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday 28th September. Crossmolina 1 -11 Louisburgh 0 – 9
Crossmolina gained two valuable Division 2 league points with this win over Louisburgh on Saturday week. In a low scoring opening half Crossmolina lead at the break by two points 0 – 5 to 0 – 3 three points from Conor Loftus and a brace from Cathal Carolan Paul McDonnell one and Kevin Gibbons two points accounted for the hosts. Who quickly wiped out this lead in the opening minuets of the new half with points from Kevin Gibbons and Sean Keane Conor Loftus replied with a point Raymond Prendergast tied the score again after forty minuets Crossmolina gained the upper hand tacked on two points from Brian Benson and Fionan Duffy again the West Mayo side came back with points from James Gibbons and Austin O’Malley to tie the score before Crossmolina’s Stephen Duffy made a telling run in along the end line and drove ball across the goal into the corner of the net in the 48th minuet and for the remaining twelve minuets Crossmolina were in command Fionan Duffy tacked on two points and Conor Loftus one. Pierce O’Malley added on a point for Louisburgh. After a well contested game played on a very soggy pitch after a previous nights rain the Deel-Siders kept their chances alive of remaining in this Division with a home tie against Islandeady

Nightmare on Church Street.
The popular Halloween event in Crossmolina returns this year and the nightmare theme is “The Church Street Morgue”. 2019 sees the event bigger with new sections and an extra date added plus a “Not So Scary” afternoon for children. The Morgue opens on Oct. 18th, 25th, 26th & 27th from 7 to 10pm and on the afternoon of the 27th from 1 – 3pm for children. Tickets can be booked by calling 087 7042069 or online at Ticketmaster. Kilmurry 25 Card Drive Is Back
The 25 Drive Card Games will resume in Kilmurry Centre on Thursday 17th October at 9pm. Best of 20, Raffle and Hampers games can be enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere. Tea and refreshments will be served. The funds raised by the Card Games go towards the upkeep and development of Kilmurry Centre and Field. Please support.

Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC
Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre.
