Crossmolina and Kiltmagh served up a very entertaining U16 Division 3 League tie in Gilmartin Park on Thursday last. Two first half goals from Conor Hession and Tom Smyth sent the hosts in to a commanding lead despite playing into a stiffish breeze. Five Ethan Reilly points and one from Aaron Keane left the Deel siders trailing by 2 – 5 to 0 – 6 as Ethan Reilly, Aaron Keane and Dylan Lavelle nibble a away at the lead with points. Conn McDermott grabbed an opportunist goal. Two Conor Howley goals for Crossmolina in the fourth quarter reduced the lead back to one point before Jack Shannon restores his side’s advantage again. Two points from Ethan Reilly left just two separating the sides at the final whistle.
