There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 6th April. Crossmolina served up a entertaining County senior League Division 2 game at Tiernans Park The sides were level 1 – 3 to 0 – 6 at the break with Crossmolina having the greater amount of possession. The Passion—in Drama
(Stations of the Cross) Good Friday 8pm Crossmolina Town Centre. The scene will be set to depict the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus often came to pray. The crowd will gather along the banks of the River Deel in Crossmolina town where Jesus will meet his Disciples. He will receive his Cross from Pilot and carry that Cross through the town of Crossmolina reflecting on the 14 Stations of the Cross to St Tiernan’s Church. The Passion will be presented by our local Drama, Pantomime & Foroige groups. Come and join us for an evening of reflection and prayer with our community on the way of the cross.
2.Easter Sunday Dawn Mass takes place in Kilmurry Cemetery @ 6am
3.The Passion: Final rehearsal in Crossmolina Church on Holy Thursday after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 8.45.

FESTIVAL NEWS.
The 13th annual Duck Race takes place next Sunday, Apr. 21st, at 12:30pm, ducks are on sale in local outlets, €2 per duck or 3 for €5. “Tops Of The Town” comes to Crossmolina with the first heat on May 11th in Cawley’s Rakestreet, this is open to any individual or groups of up to five and the entertainment can be music, singing, dancing, comedy etc. Interested or need further details call 087 912 0680
Died in Co Clare.
The death occurred peacefully on Thursday 4th April of Kathleen O’Donovan nee McGuinness Clonroadmore Ennis Co Clare formerly of Crossmolina. Her remains reposed at her residence Tivoli House Clonroadmore Ennis on Saturday evening requiem mass on in Ss Peter and Paul Cathedral Ennis on Sunday with burial afterwards in Templemaley Cemetery. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Christy is survived by her daughters Marie Gilmore Galway, Rosaleen Galway, sons John Tullamore, Chris Ennis and Andrew Boston, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Sean McGuinness Lecarrow Crossmolina, sister Una Cafferkey Bray, son-in law Martin, daughters – in – law Theresa, Helen and Deirdre, nephews, nieces, relations, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.
U14 League
Crossmolina suffered a four points defeat at home to Ballintubber 4 -8 to 2- 10 on Thursday last in the County U14 League three goals in the opening 20 minuets at times when Crossmolina were coming more into the game. They did come back to just trail by a point at the break 3 – 1 to 1-6 thanks to accuracy of James Maheady who score 1-4 with Kyle Gallagher and Jack Naughton notched points each.
