The Late Joe Gallagher.
The death occurred peacefully on Sunday 7th October at University Hospital Castlebar of Joe Gallagher Fiddaun Keeangh. His remains reposed at Leonards Funeral Home Laherdane on Monday evening with removal to the Church of the Holy Souls Keenagh with requiem mass on Tuesday and burial afterwards in Kilmurray Cemetery. Joe is survived by his brother Hugh, sister-in-law Catherine, nephew Brendan, nieces Susan, Ann and Marian, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC
Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre. Are you age 65 or older and living alone, living with another person who meets the eligibility criteria, living alone for significant periods of time during the day, or is a carer to someone else in their household, If so you could be entitled to a free Personal Alarm Panic Button. Halloween Party
A Halloween Party for Primary School Children will take place in Crossmolina Town Hall on Bank Holiday Monday, October 29, from 2 – 4 pm. Younger children and their caregivers are also welcome! There will be prizes for the best costume, a DJ, face painting, balloon animals, and more. €5 entry, and €3 for each additional sibling. In aid of Gortnor Abbey OsKars.

Crossmolina made it back to back North Mayo U11 Titles with a comfortable 4-13 to 2-5 win over Ardnaree at Tom Langan Park Ballycastle on Saturday week after a closely contest opening fifteen minuets a Tom Gough goal before the break saw the Deel-Siders lead at the break 1-6 to 0-2 another Tom Gough goal after break was the platform to go on a scoring spree from Kobe McDonald, Oisin Deane, Luke Maloney and Luke Williams but in fairness the Ardnaree boys they kept plugging away and scored 2-3 in the second half to make it a entertaining contest
