At the executive meeting of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers club on Tuesday night Congratulation was extended to Dermot Butler who was Elected Secretary of the Mayo GAA County Board succeeding Vincent Neary who had completed his five year term and Liam Moffatt on appointment as Mayo coaching officer both were very active members of our club.

The death occurred peacefully at the District Hospital Ballina Sunflower Unit on Monday 11th December of Paddy. Joe. Gallagher Gortnahurra Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home Crossmolina on Tuesday evening with removal to St Tiernans Church. Burial on Wednesday in Crossmolina Cemetery after requiem mass. Paddy. Joe was predeceased by his sister Mary, Ann and Breege. Is survived by his brothers Dermot, John Ballinasloe, sister Gretta, sister – in – law Peggy, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace.
