There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday 10th July. The numbers drawn were 13 – 28 – 32 – 35 no punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn Thomas and Mary Jordan Enniscoe Crossmolina, Daniel and Jack McNamara Comminch Castlehill Ballina, Deirdre Ward Leitrim they won €50 each. This week’s Jackpot is €13,050. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. Crossmolina 5 – 11 Knockmore 3 – 12
Crossmolina continued their good form in County U15 League at Tiernans Park on Tuesday last with a five points win over Knockmore in absorbing Contest played in ideal conditions. Crossmolina lead at the first water break 2 – 3 to 1 – 2 with goals from Josh Moyles and Adam Mills and also points each from the same players. Knockmore replied through Darragh Staunton with two points and a goal from Adrian Sotoparra with Dylan Flynn adding a point. Crossmolina dominated after the water break with goals from Ronan Walsh and Oisin Deane and points from Adam Mills two and one each from Ronan Walsh and Kobe McDonald. Darragh Staunton and Andres Sotoparra tacked on points for the visitors to leave the half time score 4 – 7 to 1 – 5. Knockmore had the better of the third quarter with three points from Darragh Staunton a goal from Adrian Sotoparra and further points from Andreas Sotoparra and Brian Walsh. Josh Moyles replied with two points and Oisin Deane one. This was the second week in succession that Crossmolina came from behind to force a draw after trailing by three points at the half time break 0 – 10 to 1 – 4 the West Mayo side reeled off impressive string scores from Ronan Carolan Ronan Reilly Simran Singh and Ray Neary. Fionan Duffy raised four white flags and Nigal Caden slotted home the goal past the helpless Conor McDonnell. After the break Jack Doocey and Ronan Carolan increased their sides advantage but Fionan Duffy with two points and one from Cathal Carolan kept the Deel-Siders score board ticking over. After the water break it was nip and tuck with Simran Singh and Ronan Carolan pointing and Tom Cafferty Fionan Duffy and a great solo effort from Tommy Walsh to tie the score after a well contested league tie that resembles more like a Championship at times

Crossmolina dominated the opening quarter and lead by four points from the boots of Ruairi McGuinness Dylan Keane Ethan Reilly and Aaron Keane. Ballina came back after the water break grabbing 2 -3 with Aaron Donnellan raising two green Flags for the Deel -Siders to leave just a point separating the sides at the break. Ethan Reilly with three points and goal from Farnan Munnelly in between those scores Ballina notched two goals and a point to tie the score at the water break. Ballina got two points in the remaining minuets and Ethan Reilly replied with a point to leave the final score Ballina 4 – 6 Crossmolina 3 – 8. New Junior Championship
Burrishoole were much too strong and physical for a very young Crossmolina side who were short a number of regulars in the County Junior tie at Newport on Sunday week. The black carding of Stephen O’Malley which looked very harsh early on because their was a numbers of defenders in front of the attacking player and Burrishoole went on to scored three goals in those ten minutes and ran out easy winners final score 5 – 10 to 1 – 8 .
