There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 25th September. The numbers drawn were 6 – 18 – 23 – 33. No punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn. Anthony Davis Bridge St Crossmolina, Padraig and Shirley Whittaker Riverwalk Crossmolina, Pat and Des Lavin Kiltmagh each win €50. This week’s Jackpot is €14,700. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. Crossmolina scored a convincing win away to Knockmore in the North Mayo U14 Championship. The first half was played in terrible conditions with very heavy rain which cleared after half time Crossmolina built up a 1 – 10 to 1 – 4 at the break goal and four points from Kobe McDonald and a string of points from Joey Keane Oisin Deane Luke Williams Ethan Reilly, with Tom Ruane replying with a point Declan Breslin three and James Brogan goal that was as good as it got for the hosts Oisin Deane Luke Maloney grabbed goals each the same players tacked on points as did Dylan Flynn. Joey Keane tacked on 1 – 1 the last quarter. Knockmore’s Ryan Gaughan Tom Ruane pointed and James Brogan added on a goal and point to leave the Deel-siders well in control in the end. Crossmolina got off to a flying start in this North Mayo U16 Championship tie in Tallagh on Tuesday last with the aid of driving rain and wind with goals from Jack Naughton and James O’Boyle by half time the hosts had raised two green flags from Cian Walsh and Paddy Conroy and just a point separated the sides 2 – 4 to 2 – 3 in favour of the Deel-Siders. Both sides added on six points each in the second Half from Jack Naughton Richie Shelly James Maheady for Crossmolina with Anthony Barrett Paddy Conroy Jack Heffernan Liam Gilbert and James Lavelle keeping the hosts score board ticking over for a fair result in the conditions.
