U21 Football Championship
The Neale were comfortable winners over Crossmolina in the County U21 Championship at Tiernans Park with County player Tommy Conroy the orchestrator of their attach setting up scores and it was his goal in the 11th Minuet that set his side on their way to a half time lead of 2-5 to 0-4. A Dean Loftus goal midway through the second half gave the Deel-Siders a lifeline, which was quickly wiped out with a brace of goals Crossmolina kept plugging away and two late goals from Lorcan Loftus and Tommy Walsh after the visitors were reduced in numbers with a few black cards to leave the Neale 4-11 to 3-8 winners
