Bonniconlon dominated the opening the first quarter at home to Crossmolina in this Sweeney cup with a string of points from Ciallian Foody Joanathan Lavelle Richard McKenzie Wesley Loftus and Sean Neary. Fionan Duffy replied with two points to leave the score 0 – 7 to 0 – 2 Diarmuid Walsh tacked on two points and Fionan Duffy one. Niall Greavy and Sean Neary made the half time score 0 – 9 to 0 – 5 Jonathan Lavelle and Niall Greavy tacked on points which Fionan Duffy reduced lead with three points and Kevin Mulhern also pointed two goals from Mark Conlon and Sean Neary in the final quarter secured their sides dominance despite Fionan Duffy five points Aodhan Harrington and Sean Neary also tacked on points for a fully deserving Bonniconlon win. Darragh Gill opened the scoring for the hosts after three minutes. Balla were quickly into stride Colm Connor cancelled this score and Shane Foy pounced on a long delivery in to the goal mouth to fist to the net. Crossmolina recovered with points from David Howley and Gerard Haran two. Shane Conway pointed before the water break to leave the score 1 – 2 to 0 – 4 Balla dominated after the break and scored six points from Shane Foy two and one each from Enda McGahon Shane Conway Cian Mannion and Fergal O’Neill John Garrett pointed in between those scores to leave the half time score 1 – 8 to 0 – 5 Crossmolina dominated the third quarter with J.P. Mulhern and Gerard Haran pointing and Nigal Caden grabbing a goal and two points to tie the score at the second water break after Balla just managed one point in this period to leave the sides all square 1 – 9 each Derek Hegarty drove over an inspirational point after a great 60m run Nigal Caden scored another goal and point and Gerard Haran pointed a free to give his side a six points winning margin

Crossmolina and Louisburgh served up an exciting County U13 League contest at Tiernans Park on Thursday last the visitors opened the scoring with a point. Aaron Keane and Aaron Donnellan raised green flags and Ethan Reilly drover over three points just before the half time break Michael Ball pulled a goal back. It got better the Louisburgh Boys after the break and Tiernan Needham and Dylan O’Toole breached the Deel-Siders defence with goals each Crossmolina recovered with points from Ethan Reilly and Aaron Keane to leave the score 3 – 4 to 2 – 5 at the water break Ethan Reilly kicked over four points and Peadar Fergus added another.
