Lotto Results

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday night the 20th   August. The numbers drawn were 6 – 21 – 31 – 34. Two punters matched three numbers Aidan O’Malley Keenagh, Ballina, Jenny Connor Deerpark, Crossmolina each win €75. The draw took place in Cooney’s Bar.  This week’s Jackpot is €6,750. The Committee would like to thank everybody for their continued support

 

U17 Championship  

Crossmolina 2 – 9 Hollymount Carramore 2 – 8 

Hollymount/Carramore raced into 1 – 2 lead in the opening six minutes with two points from Jack Keane and a goal from Finian Walsh. James Maheady and Jack Naughton replied with a points for the hosts which were cancelled out by like scores from Jack Keane and Matthew Morris. A Jack Naughton goal after eighteen minuets brought Crossmolina back into game Jack Naughton and Jack Keane swopped points then Jack Keane and Adam Mills traded points to leave the south boys 1 – 6 to 1 – 4 at the break. Crossmolina came out in the second half and replicated what Hollymount/Carramore did in the first half  James Maheady score a cracking goal and Jack Naughton tacked on two points before Matthew Morris Tied the score with a well worked goal Jack Keane edged his side in front with a point and once again James Maheady pointed Jack Keane pointed for the Visitors in 19th Minute and two late points from James Maheady edged the Deel-Siders in front but  Hollymount/Carramore missed a glorious chance to grab a late goal with a shot that drifted just wide of Patrick O’Malley’s goal.
