The Crossmolina Day Centre will run a 9 week YOGA class beginning Wednesday 4TH April from 12pm – 1.00pm upstairs in the town hall.
Barry Loftus from Strand Fitness will lead the class and booking is essential. Please contact us on 087 231 6248 for more information and to book your place.
Its €7 per class or €55 for block of 9.

The Late Edmond Burke
The death occurred peacefully on Saturday 24th March at his residence of Edmond Burke Knockglass Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Monday evening with removal to St Tiernans Church burial on Tuesday in Crossmolina cemetery after requiem mass. Edmond is survived by his loving sister Nell, brothers, Sheamus Straffan Kildare, Joe Clontarf Dublin, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends, and neighbours. May he rest in peace

The death occurred peacefully on Monday 26th March at Mayo University Hospital Castlebar of Gerry Molloy Knockbrack Castlehill. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Wednesday evening with removal to the Church of our Lady Kilmurray. Burial on Thursday in Kilmurray cemetery after requiem mass. Crossmolina Tigers advanced to the final of the Mayo U16 Cup on Monday of last week in Crosmolina Sports Hall. The winners lead throughout after Caoimhe Walsh opened the scoring to lead the break by 18 pts to 11 The Pacers closed the gap in the third quarter to four points after this Crossmolina Tigers put in a storming final quarter to run out winner by fourteen points 38 to 24.

The death occurred peacefully on Thursday 22nd March in the loving care of the staff at Tara Care nursing Home Bray Co Wicklow of Sr Agatha McLoughlin Religious order of Jesus and Mary Errew House Goatstown, Rd Dublin 14. Her remains reposed at the Chapel of Errew House on Monday evening with removal on Tuesday morning to St Tiernans Church Crossmolina for requiem mass. Burial afterwards in Gortnor Abbey Cemetery. Sr Agatha is survived by her Sally Queenan Ballina, Evelyn Mullaney Coolaney, Fr Christy McLoughlin Aclare, her loving community in Errew House and sisters in the province, nephews Rev Michael Mcloughlin PP Moycullen Co Galway, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, relatives and many friends. May she rest in peace.
