Lotto Jackpot winner 

Congratulation to Michael McDermott  Rathnamagh, Crossmolina who matched four numbers in the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Lotto to win €11,250. Michaels winning numbers were 5 – 8 – 10 – 15. The Draw took place in Hiney’s. This week’s Jackpot is €3,000

Crossmolina 2 – 7 Charlestown 1 – 8  

Crossmolina after leading by four points at the break had to withstand a severe pressure from the east Mayo boys in this Division 2 U14 league tie in St Tiernan’s Park on and a late goal from Dylan Keane to secure the points. Car Wash  

Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Bord Na Nog Fundraiser Car Wash on this Saturday 8th April in Partnership with Mindspace Mayo young people’s health matters. Supporting Youth Mental Health  

The National Pioneer Ball  

Takes place at the Menlo park Hotel Headford Road Galway on Saturday April 22 beginning with mass at 630pm at the church of the Resurrection Ballinfoyle and followed by meal and dancing from 8pm.tickets are £40 each contact Maeve at 0863148334 or Una at 0830982588 

 

Homeland Minor Division 4  

Crossmolina 5 – 8 Kilmovee Shamrocks 2 – 13  

Crossmolina were a point in arrears at the break 2 – 6 to 3 – 2 Pater Horan the Visitors half forward accounting for all bar a point of his sides total with Diarmuid Fox grabbing two goals and Billy Loftus the other. The Second half was nip and tuck A Jack Naughton Penalty was saved by the goalkeeper and in the follow up Jack crashed ball off the underside of the Crossbar and Kilmovee turned the ball over and peter Horan tied the score with a point again. The Deel-Sider dug in again and Jack Naughton raced through to grab a goal and Oisin Deane pointed before the final whistle after very entertaining game of fast open football
