—OPEN EVENING are holding their annual family open day on Tuesday 29th May between 5.30pm and 7pm. You are invited to come along to the pre-school and experience what is on offer in the way of facilities and activities in a wonderful indoor and outdoor environment. Children can explore while parents can meet the highly trained and experienced staff and hear about the different Schemes available—ECCE (free childcare places) and the CCS (a subvention for parents in receipt of Benefit) over a nice cup of coffee and cakes. CROSSMOLINA FOROIGE CLUB
The Crossmolina Foroige Club wish to announce that they have now finished their season and will return as usual in September 2012. The Club Members would particularly like to thank our team of very committed leaders who are there for us every Friday night and take the time to travel with us on away events. They have been wonderful support and help to us throughout the year. To Fr. Francis Judge who has given his time and support to the club in many ways since coming to Crossmolina. We would also like to thank the parents who help out with supervision, to the TUS scheme who provide us with a care-taker and to the Cluainin Centre for providing us with their building and facilities. We look forward to all your support and help next season.

MEN’S SHED
A meeting will be held in Crossmolina Town Hall on Monday 21st May at 9pm to discuss the formation of a Men’s Shed in Crossmolina to cover Crossmolina and surrounding areas. A Men’s Shed is a Community based, non-commercial organisation which is open to men of all ages. Its primary function is the provision of a friendly and inclusive environment where men will be able to gather and /or work on meaningful projects at their own pace in the company of other men. The social aspect of the Men’s Shed, where men have the opportunity to talk among themselves, is as important as whatever project they are working on. All men in the area are invited to the meeting.
